It's about the youth in our community. In the summer the kids need somewhere to go, this was and always has been the intent for the Tall City Classic Basketball Tournament. We have true talent in the West Texas area. These are the words of our Founder, Earl Davis, whom has served and given countless time to the youth in our community over the last 30 years.

Get to Know Us
Earl Davis is married to Michelle Davis for over 30 years not. They have of three gifted kids and now has three grandchildren. Two of their children grew up in our local community as exceptional young men and student athletes, in which both were blessed to take their talents to play college football.
The tournament started out as a Men's Tournament, which hosted several Amateurs, some Semi-Pro Athlete's and several local Collegiate Athlete's from the Basin. The idea birthed from coaching in a midnight basketball league that hosted several kids in our community to keep them off of the streets at night. It was at that moment that Earl decided to start a youth division tournament. What was only a showcase of 16 to 20 teams, have grown as much as 50 teams over the last several years. The locals enjoy it because they do not have to travel far to watch great talent in the area.
This event would not be possible without our Lord and Savior Jesus leading us over the years. Having an awesome staff of family members who work tirelessly for three days, is another reason for our success. Although we are small in numbers we do our best to ensure that all spectators and teams have the best tournament experience.
We plan to create many more joyous moments and more years of displaying incredible talent as long as you all are here. We thank you for your continued support.
